Analytics Overview

InvyMate analytics helps teams answer two recurring questions:

  • what needs attention now
  • what is changing over time

What it is

Analytics in InvyMate combines:

  • Dashboard cards (high-level state)
  • Trend widgets (direction over time)
  • Report tables (operational detail)

It is designed for operational decisions such as follow-up, audits, maintenance, and exception handling.

Who it’s for

  • Owners and Admins monitoring inventory execution
  • IT/office operators running lifecycle and maintenance workflows
  • Teams that need exportable operational reporting

What you can track

Common analytics/reporting areas:

  • Asset status distribution and changes over time
  • Attention indicators such as lost assets, overdue maintenance, or upcoming warranty work
  • Inventory session outcomes and scan progress
  • Assignment activity and ownership changes
  • Exportable reports for follow-up work

How to use it

  1. Open Analytics.
  2. Use summary cards and charts to identify the areas that need follow-up.
  3. Open the related view or report to inspect the records behind a metric.
  4. Apply filters such as location, category, status, assignee, or date range.
  5. Export the results when you need to share findings outside the app.

A practical way to use it

  • Start with high-level counts.
  • Drill into the queue behind an issue.
  • Fix or reassign the underlying records.
  • Re-run the same filtered view later to confirm the queue is shrinking.

The Replacement & Loss dashboard focuses on two quick stakeholder questions:

  • What should we replace next quarter?
  • Where are we losing items?

It includes:

  • age buckets and oldest assets table
  • warranty expiry 30/60/90 and expiring assets table
  • long-assigned thresholds and long-assigned table
  • missing-rate trends by location/category and repeatedly unscanned assets table

Each table supports CSV export.

Weekly digest

InvyMate can send a weekly email digest to active Owners/Admins with:

  • warranty expiring soon counts
  • long-assigned asset count
  • repeat-missing hotspots by location/category
  • delivery only for tenants in free, trialing, or active status
  • direct Open workspace link for the tenant
  • per-user opt-out via Profile → Weekly analytics digest email

Interpretation tips

  • Dashboard = current posture
  • Trend widgets = trajectory (improving vs degrading)
  • Reports = exact rows/events to act on

Use all three together: detect → investigate → resolve.

Plan availability

  • Analytics dashboards and reports are available on Team and Pro plans.
  • The app resolves plan access before opening /analytics, so first load may briefly show a loading state instead of bouncing back to the dashboard.
