Inventory Schedules

Schedules automatically generate inventory sessions on a recurring cadence.

How it works

1. Create a schedule.
2. Set the name, cadence, start date, and scope.
3. Activate the schedule.
4. Let InvyMate generate sessions ahead of time, or use Run now to open the next scheduled session.

Run now opens the earliest scheduled session in the current lookahead window when one exists. If no session has been generated yet, it creates the next recurring session. It does not create a separate ad-hoc occurrence or change the later recurring cadence.

Retired assets are always excluded from newly started inventory sessions.

When to use schedules

Schedules work well when you already know the audit rhythm your team needs, such as:

• monthly high-value device checks
• quarterly office or site audits
• annual fixed-asset verification

If you are still designing the process, start with manual sessions first and schedule them later.
