Workspace (Tenant)
A workspace is the top-level container for your organization’s data:
- assets
- people
- categories + locations
- inventory sessions + schedules
- configuration (custom fields, layouts, QR labels, API keys, subscription)
Asset (Inventory item)
An asset is a trackable item (laptop, monitor, phone, tool) with a unique tag, a status + condition, and optional assignment to a person.
Person
A record representing an employee/contractor (or any assignee) that can hold one or more assets.
Category
A classification used to group assets (e.g., Laptops, Phones). Categories can also scope custom fields (asset-specific).
Location
Represents a physical or logical place an asset belongs to (HQ, Warehouse, Remote, “All Locations”).
Assignment
The relationship between an asset and a person (who has what).
Inventory session (Inventory check)
An audit run where you generate an expected asset list, scan/verify assets, capture updates, and then complete the session to apply changes.
Inventory schedule
A recurring rule that generates inventory sessions automatically (monthly/quarterly/etc.).
Custom field
An organization-defined attribute for Assets or People (cost center, PO number, etc.).
Layout
A configuration that controls which fields appear as list columns (and potentially forms) for Assets and People.
QR label template
A saved design for printing asset labels (QR + text fields).
Plan feature gate
Some actions are enabled only if your plan includes the corresponding feature (e.g., CSV export, API access).
